Gary Lee Lukenbill, 70, of Elk City, passed away Monday, June 9, 2014 at Life Care Center of Lewiston after a long battle with stroke-related complications.

He was born and raised in Lewiston to Leland Lukenbill and Gevevieve Yochum, who preceded him in death.

After graduating from Lewiston High School, he served in the U.S. Navy, then drove a truck for 23 years. Once retired, he moved to Elk City, where he was most at peace with his loving, devoted wife, Linda, of 34 years, and enjoyed time with family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Linda; son Kimble Lukenbill of Ferndale, Wash; daughters Greta Jaeger of Vancouver, Wash,, Wendy Fletcher of Kent, Wash,. Rita Leslie and Eva Dahl of Clarkston; sons Steven Leslie of Lewiston and Dustin Birch of Pullman; 16 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, James Leslie, and daughter, Donna Leslie.

There will be no memorial service per Gary’s request. Please raise a glass in his memory.
