Donna M. Dowdy, 47, a Clarkston bookkeeper, died Friday at Tri-State Memorial Hospital of a heart attack.
She was born May 2, 1943, to Omar J. and Cora Mae Stearns Sarbacher at Craigmont. She lived in the Lewiston-Clarkston area all of her life. She married Francis Dixon in 1959 at Lewiston. They were divorced in 1968.
She worked as a bookkeeper for AMFAC Electric at Clarkston for nine years and as a bookkeeper for American Tri-Star of Lewiston for the last 2 years. She married Butch Goldsworthy at Lewiston in 1970. They were divorced in 1979. She married Ed Dowdy at Coeur d’Alene this year. She enjoyed reading, camping and deep-sea fishing.
Survivors include her husband at Clarkton; her father Omar J. Sarbacher of Lewiston; a daughter Sheri Yager of Hayden Lake, Idaho; two sons, Scott Dixon of Pullman and Chance Goldsworthy of Santa Cruz, Calif.; two brothers, Richard Morrell of Coeur d’Alene and Omar J. Sarbacher Jr. of Lewiston; two sisters, Susan Gephart of Richland and Vicki Bourbon of Woodland, Calif.; and two grandchildren.
Funeral services are pending at Vassar-Rawls Funeral Home at Lewiston.
