Hubert “Bert” Arendell Glasson, 75, of Pinehurst, Idaho, passed away June 25, 2016 near Mullan.  He was born December 14, 1940 in Lewiston, Idaho; Bert was the son of Hubert A. and Marie (Wharton) Glasson, Jr.

Bert attended and graduated from the Kingston High School of Kingston.  He has lived in the Silver Valley for most of his life.

Bert served as a miner at the Bunker Hill Mining Company of Kellogg; he had also worked in various mines in Alaska and Nevada.

Bert loved and enjoyed his family, fishing, dancing and snow skiing; he loved the outdoors.

Bert is survived by three children Susan Glasson of Kellogg, Idaho, Ellen (John) Ryan of Manchester, New Hampshire and Tracy (Shirley) Glasson of Wallace, Idaho; eleven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; one sister Gail Knutson of Clarkston, Washington; he is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.  Bert was preceded in death by his parents, and one sister Judy.

Cremation was held and a private family gathering will be held at a later date.
